Important Documents

As a professional historical European martial arts fencing school we take pride in the community we continue to build. At our core is the Valour HEMA Academy Code of Conduct and Ethical Framework which is based on the seven core True Sport Principles: Go For It, Play Fair, Respect Others, Keep It Fun, Stay Healthy, Include Everyone, Give Back.

All members, instructors, and volunteers of Valour HEMA Academy sign the Code of Conduct and Ethical Framework and agree to acting honorably and respectfully inside and outside of the Academy.

In addition, all instructors are members of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and have completed the Sport Manitoba - Respect in Sport training certification. Head Provost Chad McFarland has his certification available for download below for any parties interested in verifying his certification.

Please download the Code of Conduct and Ethical Framework document and familiarize yourself with what is expected for a member of Valour HEMA Academy as well as important information for parents and the protection of minors in the school.
